When Al is not in analytics mode, he enjoys walking Brighton beach with his wife while clearing up the moulted hairs of their golden retriever, reviewing Marvel/Action Hero films with his son at the cinema, the simplicity of gin and tonics, watching and playing cricket, winning and losing at poker (mainly losing) and predicting elections (often badly).
