An advanced look at the various methods available for beating crawl bloat and which should be used in which circumstances. When should one use robots.txt rules, 410, noindex and nofollow? How and why is this effective from an SEO perspective and potential pitfalls to watch out for.

Charlie is SEO Director at Banc Media in Manchester. Having worked as both a technical and creative SEO over the last 8 years, at three agencies in the north-west, he is relishing his work in the post Panda, Hummingbird and RankBrain era. Charlie has developed a penchant for refining crawl bloat over the years and loves seeing the results this often delivers for clients.
