Networking

Whether you want to chat about SEO or anything but, we put on a range of events to help you meet other search marketers.

If you’re looking for something a bit louder, take a look at our parties.

For something more structured and focused on learning, take a look at our fringe conferences.

Yoga in the Lanes

Yoga in the Lanes - Friday

Yoga in the Lanes, 67 Middle Street, Brighton, BN1 1AL

Start your day with a calming yoga class before your brain gets busy at the conference. The class is lead by experienced local yoga instructors and the studio provides mats, props and use of shower/hairdryer/facilities 15 minutes prior to class and for 30 minutes afterwards. Places are free but you need to reserve a place. Please only book if you definitely plan to attend. Spaces are limited to 15 people per class and if you don’t turn up it means someone else could’ve taken part.

5k seafront run

5k seafront run - Friday

Kick start the conference with the brightonSEO seafront run, a great way to network in a relaxed environment and get your blood pumping before a whole day of learning. The run, led by local running group RunPals, will be inclusive of any ability, so you can choose how fast or slow you go – every ability is welcome. Pre-registration is mandatory, but free.

Guided meditation & coaching

Mindfulness session - Friday

Brighton Centre, Brighton, BN1 2GR

Take some time out from all the talking with a free mindfulness session led by Tazmin Suleman. Being at a conference can be overwhelming. These sessions will be an informal space to allow individuals to reset and recharge. They’ll provide a quieter, calming space and help restore your inner calm through mindfulness, stress management strategies and maybe even some guided meditation. Tazmin is the founder of TS Coaching, creator of the online course Revitalise and co-host of The SEO Mindset Podcast. She works with organisations and individuals, helping to empower them without compromising on their wellbeing.

Netwalking

Brighton Seafront, Brighton seafront, starting from outside the Brighton Center

Join us for a casual stroll around our beautiful city and chat to other attendees. We'll start by the iconic Brighton Palace Pier and take an easy walk along the seafront to a cafe where tickets include a drink at the pub before we head back to the pier. Our walk will last up to two hours and be guided by a member of the brightonSEO team.

brightonSEO presents Pre-conference beach clean

Pre-conference beach clean

Come along to the Pre-conference Beach Clean for an hour of fresh sea air and exercise before spending the conference day indoors. Organised with the help of the Brighton & Hove chapter of Surfers Against Sewage and our friends at local ethical agency Creative Bloom, the session offers a unique opportunity to meet and chat with some fellow delegates, not to mention the good feeling of doing something positive for Brighton seafront by collecting up some of the plastic waste and rubbish from the beach! Meet opposite the Brighton Centre at 8am on Thursday 20th April - look out for the Surfers Against Sewage stand on the upper promenade. SAS will provide gloves, pickers and bags. #PlasticFreeCoastlines
