Jamie is an Assistant Professor at CUNY Queens College teaching social media and digital activism and holds a PhD in Cultural and Media Studies specializing in memes and digital culture. He's also the Head of Education for Digital Void, an internet literacies project that bridges the gap between digital life and everyday culture. Formerly, he founded and directed an internet studies college degree and is currently a faculty fellow at Salzburg Academy on Media and Global Change.
